The project begins with a review of theories about capital structure and the relationship between the level of indebtedness, the cost of capital and the value of the company. It is assumed that the value of the company is related to the cost of the sources of financing and the cost of equity, the decision on how to finance is not fixed in time nor determined once, but is dynamic, and Should be defined in terms of: The cost of debt, the cost of equity. In order to accept or reject the hypothesis, an optimal structure is proposed, through the application of a simulation model in which input and output variables are identified, for the simulation and optimization of the capital structure, through the use of A financial model that allows to include the tax benefit, the impact of sector risk, country risk, company size risk, inflationary effect and thus estimate the most efficient scenario of capital structure that adds value to the company. The final result of this study shows that if the company opts for the proposed financial structure, it adds value, however, there are barriers, voluntary and involuntary to the debt. KEY WORDS: Capital structure, cost of financing sources, Optima financial structure, Value of the company.
