A Porcicola production system according to Padilla (2016) is made up of: Production of pigs for fattening: this system requires a minimum of facilities, requires the start, development and fattening pens, with their respective feeders and drinking troughs; Piglet production: in this system all breeding facilities are needed, so its cost is increased; Full cycle production: it is the most expensive system for requiring facilities for all biological stages of the pig. The work focuses on defining a comprehensive production system for the Porky farm company located in the municipality of Valledupar, and the following stages were developed: Analysis of bibliographic references, Identification of agricultural production schemes, field observation in the selected company , analysis and interpretation of data, definition of strategies, establishments of improvement methods, conclusions and recommendations. A production system was deployed that would allow the Porky farm to carry out the planning, control and improvement of the system, thereby building a series of procedures and instruments that would generate the basis for collecting information to organize the productivity analysis. and competitiveness.
