- PublicaciónRestringidoDesarrollo de una cocina ecoeficiente modelo piloto para la fundación humildad extrema en CÚCUTA- NORTE DE SANTANDER(Cúcuta: Universidad de Santander, 2019, 2019-06-25) Vargas Diaz, Leidy Tatiana.; Rivera Pabón, Yulian Guillermo.; Avendaño Sánchez, Maryorie-AngélicaThe health effects caused by air pollution in homes, due to the use of open stoves with the use of solid fuels such as firewood, are an important part of a report on the state of the environment and renewable resources, in which Air pollution in homes and the environment was related to deforestation and greenhouse gas (GHG) production (Minambiente, 2011), the result of insufficient combustion of biomass, which is the main cause of respiratory diseases in rural areas, mainly in children and women because they are the ones that stay longer at home, causing 13 health effects such as lower respiratory infections (ARI) in 5-year-old children, Obstructive Pulmonary disease ( COPD) in women and Lung cancer in women exposed to smoke, with a moderate degree of lung cancer and COPD in men exposed to hum o (Minambiente, 2015). Consequently, it is essential to promote the prevention and control of traditional wood-burning stoves to reduce environmental pollution, which is why the renovation of air in the houses with the use of eco-efficient kitchens and the implementation of energy-efficient banks should be sought to help the supply of firewood, thus avoiding deforestation and mitigating the impact it causes on the environment.
