    In the current work, each of the activities carried out in the business practice by the student HERNANDO JOSÉ HERRERA ARÉVALO, student of civil engineering, in the company SERINGTEC SAS, will be described, which carries out studies, designs, consultancies in the engineering area. and auditing. The business practice was based on the development of a series of activities, where the design of hydrosanitary and structural plans with their respective work quantities was found, as well as the support of administrative activities in the preparation of preliminary reports such as specifications calculation techniques and memories, analysis of unit prices and budgets. It is of great importance to clarify that in each of the activities carried out in the business practice, each of the knowledge acquired in the career of civil engineering at the University of Santander was put into practice, where techniques and knowledge were perfected, learning new trends in construction and design as well as in personal growth, assuming new challenges and responsibilities, which teach to fulfill the work in a morally professional manner, thus guaranteeing a quality service for the community, generating personal growth, expanding new horizons which will help to have a better visualization of the professional field in which each of the knowledge and skills acquired in the university are carried out in an adequate manner.
