    The purpose of this paper is to determine the coping and adaptation of people who have been diagnosed with HIV / AIDS in 2016 at the HOASIS foundation, through the application of the scale of measurement of the coping process and adaptation of Callista Roy, which allows the description of the coping status of the proposed population, becomes important for the University of Santander since it promotes research in the health sector, thus understanding the faculties that are formed there, in the study of one of the problems that Currently, it has a high rate of both prevalence and mortality, such as HIV / AIDS, which in turn can serve as a reference point for the scientific community of Cúcuta in the face of this issue, 12 which has few jobs that focus on health beyond physical, exploring the personal components of patients, promoting the human sense of health personnel and the prayer of other related topics. Sin embargo, los estudiantes se encuentran en un proceso de formación en donde se convive en un ambiente que mezcla una diversidad de costumbres, hábitos de vida y comportamientos que influyen en el cuidado de su salud a lo que se suma la lejanía del hogar, pocos recursos económicos y la sobrecarga escolar que se traducen en restricciones para seleccionar alimentación saludable, la práctica de deportes, el manejo del estrés, entre otras.     Alteración del patrón nutricional-metabólico en escolares de 8 a 10 años, en institución educativa, nuestra señora de belén – sede la divina pastora, de la ciudad de Cúcuta, año 2018

    El objetivo del presente trabajo modalidad proyecto factible, fue identificar las alteraciones del patrón nutricional-metabólico en escolares de 8 a 10 años en la Institución Educativa Colegio Nuestra Señora de Belén – Sede 4, la Divina Pastora, de la ciudad de Cúcuta, para el establecimiento de acciones de prevención y control de salud. Para su ejecución se desarrolló una metodología con un paradigma cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental, un tipo de investigación de campo y un nivel descriptivo transversal. La población, estuvo conformada por 290 niños y niñas, matriculados para el año lectivo 2018, con edades comprendidas entre 8 y 10 años de edad; debido al factor tiempo, se seleccionó una muestra mediante la fórmula estadística para estimar proporciones en una población finita, dando como resultado 119 niños y niñas, a las cuales se les aplicó como instrumento, una encuesta como guion con veintiuna (21) preguntas, con lenguaje sencillo, claro y de fácil entendimiento. Como resultados, se obtuvo que, en la percepción del manejo de la salud, la mayoría considera que tiene una salud sana, que no realiza acciones preventivas, como vacunas, control de crecimiento y control de odontología; y en lo referente al nutricional – metabólico, en su mayoría solo consume dos ingestas al día y cuando lo hacen es balanceado, no toman suplementos vitamínicos, se hidratan dos veces al día y debido a la mala alimentación consideran que han perdido peso en los últimos días. Por todo ello se establecieron acciones, como charlas junto con los padres de familia, y un folleto donde sintetiza la alimentación que debe recibir el niño acorde a la edad y los controles que debe realizar para prevenir enfermedades que afecten su salud y por ende su rendimiento académico.

    Ansiedad asociada con el rendimiento académico del segundo semestre del programa de enfermería de la Universidad de Santander campus Cúcuta 2018

    Determinar la relación existente entre la ansiedad y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de segundo semestre de la facultad enfermería de la universidad de Santander campus Cúcuta, 2018. Material y métodos: La selección de los 69 participantes para la investigación, se realizó aplicando un muestreo no probabilístico, es decir, en el cual se desconoce la probabilidad que tienen los sujetos de la población para ser parte de la muestra,debido a que esta sujeta al consentimiento, bien sea de los estudiantes o de los padres si eran menores de edad para participar en el estudio; por esta razón, el tipo de muestreo fue intencional a conveniencia, además de contar con facilidad de acceso a la población seleccionada. La muestra quedó conformada por todos aquellos esudiantes en edades entre 16 y 38 años con consentimiento informado. Una vez aplicado el instrumento, solo fueron procesados 53 de estos, debido a que los 16 restantes se excluyeron porque el instrumento posee elementos de validación para asegurar la fiabilidad y veracidad de la información suministrada por el sujeto.

    El acoso escolar es un fenómeno que siempre ha existido, pero actualmente ha adquirido gran importancia debido a la inmersión cada vez más temprana de los jóvenes en el mundo del internet y las redes sociales, dando lugar a una nueva vía de acoso llamada ciber bullying, considerada una de los métodos más sencillos y utilizados para intimidar a las personas a través de la difamación de fotos, videos o comentarios ofensivos. No obstante, no se debe dejar de lado, las formas habituales en que se puede hacer bullying o acoso escolar a un individuo, ya sea mediante maltrato verbal, físico, exclusión social y disrupción en el aula.

    A quantitative cross-sectional investigation was carried out. The sample included 135 students from the Pablo Correa León school located in the citadel, the freedom in the city of Cúcuta, with an average age of 12 to 18 years. There is a big problem that affects this student population, and it is the documented presence of cases of prostitution, teenage pregnancies, increasing numbers of sexually transmitted diseases and other important problems, hence the idea of knowing what the behaviors are. that these young people are adopting, to know what they think about the great world of sexuality, practices, eroticism, their knowledge; that is to say, to investigate more thoroughly how the adolescents of today act, in the place where they are supposed to be educated with the bases to forge their futures, the school. The survey of sexual opinion survey was used, which measures the learned behaviors against sexual stimuli; In addition to this, complementing a theorist in nursing called Nancy Roper is based on the research approach. This research shows a percentage of the population that are attracted or curious about unusual and unusual sexual practices, certain young people are interested in sexual relations in groups or with people of the same sex; These behaviors are acquired at an early age which makes desire and eroticism grow in them at a time not yet appropriate in their lives, which is why pregnancies occur at an early age, diseases and other inappropriate behaviors for their current development physical and this may be caused by lack of dialogue with their families.

    In the project carried out in adolescents of the tenth grade of the municipal school airport on sexually transmitted diseases, the problems that adolescents and youth face today in relation to their sexual and reproductive health are varied and complex. These include risky sexual behaviors, unwanted pregnancies and the acquisition of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. In reality, adolescent women become infected with HIV at a rate twice that of adolescent men. In addition, sexual violence and exploitation, gender-based violence, lack of formal education and even sex education, inability to negotiate with sexual partners about sexual decisions and lack of access to reproductive health services combine to put young women in a special situation of high risk. The foregoing highlights the lack of informed knowledge and the low empowerment of these groups.

    The present investigation was related to the knowledge and behaviors against HIV Aids in the students of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the University of Santander - UDES in the city of San José de Cúcuta where a primary information instrument could be applied that was surveyed Previously valid and obtained information related to the sociodemographic profile where it stands out that it is a young population, both genders, single marital status in almost all. In terms of knowledge, it was evidenced that there is adequate and basic management related to the subject of study, although it was also possible to analyze that there are some discriminatory taboos that is a predominant disease in homosexual and lesbian people and that there are other kinds of infections that are Can avoid such as caresses, kissing, being close to them. In the area of behavior it was possible to analyze that many of them do not have stable partners and do not like to use preventive measures like the use of the condom and to be examined periodically to have clarity of their state of health.

    En la investigación realizada en el Colegio pablo correa león, se buscó socavar sobre el contenido, con el fin de conseguir un mayor discernimiento para hallar nuevas elucidaciones que diferencien el discernimiento inicial. En este asunto se puede tomar como pauta la consecuente incógnita: Las derivaciones del trabajo final se cimientan a partir de la exploración teórica compilada. En cuanto a las proposiciones que encuadran este trabajo, se argumenta en su proceso, puesto que llevan a un discernimiento más hondo que consiente ejecutar un plan de trabajo y cumplimiento de objetivos conforme al período en que se despliega. Desde el punto de vista metodológico, la elaboración de este trabajo, permitirá a los autores a reconocer su estructura, para que así puedan adquirir habilidades y destrezas en el desarrollo de trabajos similares, demostrando que la universidad hace aportes a la comunidad y al mercado laboral, entregando profesionales idóneos para desempeñarse efectivamente en su labor de enfermería, quienes se han preparado a partir de las experiencias de su ámbito académico. La justificación de este trabajo se concibe en la idea que los autores del presente desde su epistemología generarán un buen número de acciones, procedimientos y estrategias para el efectivo desempeño en sus diferentes roles; además desarrollarán todas las potencialidades que se evidencian desde su quehacer profesional. Si se comparan los resultados obtenidos, en cuanto al tipo de método utilizado, éstos coinciden en el método de primera elección que son los métodos de barrera para hombre, sin embargo, existe diferencia en el método de segunda elección ya que en éste estudio se reportó el hormonal inyectable mensual y de barrera.

    The waste is considered all those wastes that are produced in our daily activities. This research has as a general objective to determine the knowledge and practices on the management and disposition of domestic waste in the inhabitants of the urbanization prados of the north of the city of San José de Cúcuta, 2017ª and as specific objectives I. To demographically characterize the target population study. II. To demonstrate the knowledge on the management and disposal of domestic waste residues in the inhabitants of the Prados del Norte neighborhood of the city of San José de Cúcuta, 2017ª. III. Identify the practices on the handling and disposal of household waste in the inhabitants of the Prados del Norte urbanization of the city of San José de Cúcuta, 2017ª. Materials and methods: The assumed methodological approach is the quantitative one of descriptive type, because in it information is collected and a data analysis with high reliability is given. The study population corresponds to the inhabitants of the Prados del Norte urbanization. A sample of 326 families was calculated, with a confidence level of 95%, a margin of error of 5%, a probability of occurrence of the event of 50%. Results: it was observed that a large part of the population has knowledge and practices in the management of final disposal of waste, however, it is reflected in a small part of this community the lack of knowledge about waste disposal. Conclusion: It was evidenced that the inhabitants of the urbanization Prados del Norte mostly have knowledge and carry out proper practices of domestic waste, because it is a sector where most of the young people live and with a stable socioeconomic level; even so, it is recommended to continue raising awareness in environmental education in order to strengthen knowledge and cultural habits in people to reduce the percentage of the population that does not manage an adequate disposal of waste.

    Currently more and more Colombians require a transplant to continue living or to improve their quality of life, but the realization of these procedures are limited by the low rate of organ donation in Colombia: therefore, it was decided to conduct a study to identify the knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding the donation of the organs of the patients in the intensive care unit of the San José clinic during the semester B of the year 2017 in the city of Cúcuta. In the identification process, an educational table was used and a survey was conducted in 100 families of the people who were in the adult intensive care unit, where the importance was explained and the consent of the information was signed so that each person within of the sample will fill the survey; Each survey is analyzed with the SPSS Analytic software that facilitates the interpretation of the data, generates the tables and cross tables that identified the knowledge, attitude and practice that people have with organ donation. All the variables were identified, through tables and crossed tables to generate a hypothesis of the case, the rate of organ donation decreased at the San José Clinic in the city of Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia.

    The objective of this special project modality work was to analyze the knowledge, attitudes and practices on contraceptive methods in tenth grade students at La Garita College, Los Patios Municipality during 2018 “A”, whose purpose is to contribute to the Institute La Garita Technician, sufficient elements that allow planning educational strategies to improve this problem. For its development a descriptive field methodology was used, with a quantitative approach; The population consisted of a sample of 32 students of the tenth grade, to whom only 26 were applied as a structured survey with 12 questions, in which (6) students were excluded because the parents did not sign the consent informed of these students. As a result, it was obtained that the majority of adolescents surveyed (26), are female (15) and are at the age of 15 and are one socioeconomic; As for living together, most live with their parents; Most have already had sex. They have an inadequate level of knowledge of the concept and use of contraceptive methods.

    Consumo de sustancias Psicoactivas de los Estudiantes de los Programas académicos de Enfermería y Fisioterapia de la Universidad de Santander -UDES- en el periodo 2018-B.

    The present project was oriented to determine the consumption of SPA of the students of the Nursing and Physiotherapy programs that study the 2018-B period at the University of Santander of the city of Cúcuta, research through which it was possible to identify the risk factors that lead to the consumption of psychoactive substances in this population, as well as the consequences that are generated from it. The methodology used responded to a quantitative approach with a non-experimental descriptive cross-sectional design. The sample addressed was a total of 257 students, of which 136 belong to the Nursing program and 121 to the Physiotherapy program. The survey was used as an information collection technique and a questionnaire as an instrument. For the analysis of results, the SPSS program was used in version 25. As important findings it is highlighted that in both programs the age of onset of SPA consumption was before the age of 18; Those who indicated consumption are between 18 and 24 years of age, which corresponds to the age group that is considered to have the highest incidence of drug use in Colombia; likewise, that marijuana is the drug with the highest consumption among respondents, followed by cocaine and ecstasy. It was also found that family, social and educational environment are significant risk factors for the consumption of SPA; and that the greatest consequences of this consumption are directed to the deterioration of relations with the family and with the people with whom they live, as well as, with the increase of violent reactions to face situations. The research allowed us to conclude that there is consumption of SPA by Nursing and Physical Therapy students from an early age.

    Los avances tecnológicos de hoy en día cobran una gran importancia en nuestro diario vivir llegando a convertirse en una necesidad para el ser humano, estos avances se vuelven tan necesarios que llegan a crear dependencias patológicas como por ejemplo la nomofobia, que es el miedo a estar sin el móvil celular; La tecnología se apodera de todos los espacios y áreas de la vida diaria, pero muchas personas no saben aprovecharla y no le dan el uso adecuado para lo que ha sido creado estos adelantos. La tesis pretende notar la adicción que se puede desarrollar a través del uso excesivo de los teléfonos celulares al forjar así la patología denominada Nomofobia.

    Deserción de Estudiantes de la carrera de Enfermería en la Universidad de Santander - Cúcuta en el periodo 2016-2018.

    Se busca establecer los factores que influyen en la deserción de estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería, en la Universidad de Santander, campus Cúcuta, en el periodo 2016 – 2018. La metodología de investigación es cuantitativa no 12 experimental; la población objeto de estudio son los estudiantes desertores del año 2016 al 2018 de la carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad en estudio, la aplicación de la encuesta se realiza en el periodo 2019-B. La selección de la muestra se realizará teniendo en cuenta la cifra de estudiantes desertores con las que sea posible contactarnos a partir de los datos proporcionados por la Universidad de la población objeto de estudio. La información será obtenida mediante una encuesta adaptada de la investigación ―Caracterización de los estudiantes en deserción del programa de enfermería en la universidad de Santander Udes en el periodo del 2013 al 2016 Bucaramanga‖. En los resultados, el 50% expresó que el motivo de deserción fue el traslado a otra Universidad, el 25% dijo que por problemas económicos, el 13% manifestó que fue por cambio de carrera, en la misma universidad y el 8% por otras causas. Se pudo encontrar diversos motivos; de los cuales se concluye que el predominante es el traslado a otra universidad. Mostrando una gran referencia del porqué de estos traslados, ya que el segundo motivo con más porcentaje fue el económico.

    El presente estudio tuvo por objeto diagnosticar el manejo ambiental de los residuos hospitalarios generados por las Unidades Básicas 11 de Noviembre y Patios Centro, año 2018, ubicadas en el Municipio Los Patios Norte de Santander, Colombia. Se implementa el nivel de investigación descriptivo y de tipo campo, ya que la información se recolecto directamente de los datos suministrados por los trabajadores de las Unidades Básicas objeto de estudio, se obtuvo como resultados relevantes que no se cumple con los parámetros de desactivación en la fuente de los residuos, siendo esta una falencia del proceso de manejo ambiental de los residuos. Se puede concluir que sus instalaciones cuentan y cumplen con todos los parámetros de ley, siendo esto una fortaleza, se observa también que existe una capacitación continua lo que ayuda a que el proceso sea socializado adecuadamente con todo el personal. Del mismo modo se concluye que existe una buena separación en la fuente de los residuos y en cuanto a la dimensión de seguridad industrial es posible afirmar que la entidad esta comprometidos con la protección de sus trabajadores ya que se obtuvo un alto cumplimiento de los criterios de evaluación, garantizando que estos cuenten con seguridad social, vacunación, chequeos médicos, entre otros.

    In the present investigation, the objective was to analyze the experience of the student mothers of the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Santander. By which a qualitative study will be conducted whose objective is to focus and analyze the experiences from the strengths, weaknesses and / or threats of being a university student mother and in some cases combine this role with workloads, giving the focus to find the experiences that are possible and thus know the reality of the population. Conclusion: For the students the obligations and the reorganization of the priorities and times to fit in the new lifestyle demands great responsibility.

    Experiencias de embarazos en adolescentes de hogares Comunitarios fami de villa del rosario periodo b 2018

    Resumen Esta investigación nació de la necesidad que fue evidenciada en la Asociación de padres Comunitarios FAMI, ubicada en el barrio La Palmita, es un trabajo de campo sobre el embarazo en adolescentes, donde se analizaron las experiencias, problemáticas y conocimientos de las jóvenes frente a este evento, de cómo influye el inicio de su vida sexual a una edad muy temprana, sin conocer los métodos de planificación familiar, promoción, prevención, riesgos de embarazo y enfermedades de transmisión sexual. Este trabajo se enfocó cualitativamente y ahondó en los diferentes factores que aquejaron a las adolescentes que están embarazadas a temprana edad, analizando y estudiando donde radica el problema, buscando crear conciencia en estas jóvenes sobre la prevención de embarazos, no solo, por las consecuencias que genera de índoles físicas, económicas y familiares sino también en el contexto social. Para conseguir los objetivos planteados del trabajo de investigación, se aplicó un instrumento que constaba de 6 preguntas, tomando como muestra a 5 adolescentes en estado de gestación temprana, para que manifiesten sus experiencias. De esta información se obtuvieron categorías que permitieron poner en evidencia el porqué de estas situaciones y como se puede a partir de la misma, crear concientización que pueda ayudar a prevenir y mitigar los altos niveles de madres gestantes a temprana edad.
