The 5S is a simple method that with only implementing 5 steps (Classify, organize, clean, standardize and discipline) allows to build and preserve improvements with the commitment of the entire organization, in the same way the methodology of the 7 losses consists of identifying the actions that add value and which do not to the production process, also proposes actions to reduce or eliminate production losses in order to optimize productivity, quality, delivery times, minimize costs, greater guarantee and stimulation for staff. The present project consists of the implementation of strategies 5S and 7 Losses to the company Hairdressing Cabecitas. The process carriel out for this implementation consisted initially of presenting the project to the managers, after the managers gave their approval, a visit was made where the completion of the entries corresponding to the initial evidence was sought: process times, photos and initial audit. In addition to the above, personnel were trained in the 5S and 7 losses method, after which they were followed up through continuous audits, and finally the final evaluation was carried out: photos, production times, auditing. The results of the process were satisfactory, to the extent that an increase of 6.56% in the degree of efficiency of the process could be observed and a production capacity of 10 cutting services by daily stylists could be established.
