- PublicaciónRestringidoElaborar un software educativo para el diseño espesores de las capas estructurales de pavimentos rígidos y flexibles en la Universidad de Santander – UDES(Bucaramanga : Universidad de Santander, 2017, 2017-10-30) Reatiga Carvajal, Richart; Galindo Guerrero, GuillermoThe demand for new routes to connect populations and allow communication by land, has generated improvement every day in design of rigid and flexible pavements methods, in order to meet a bearing surface that resists traffic for much more time and allow the safe and comfortable passage of vehicles at operational speeds and under climatic and geographical conditions. To do this, you must have the tools that allow you to perform this operations and procedures most accurate, exact and precise. The AASHTO 93 method is the most used and the best known worldwide, its methodology contains the use of nomograms to get the variables that are then used in the formula seeking for a match, allowing to generate a small margin of error, according to the user's ability in the manageability of the nomograms. In order to be more accurate and precise in the results that were generated in the structural design of the pavement layer panels, a need was seen to automate those processes, that’s why the software PAVIMENTUM was designed, it helps us with the calculations and application in formulas, as well as the interpretation of the tables and the manipulations of the nomograms, generating more reliable and truthful results for the use in the design of the thicknesses of the layers of the pavements within our learning or professional field.
