(Cúcuta, Universidad de Santander, 2019, 2019-12-16) López Sánchez, Angie Juliett; Silva Mateus, Jennifer; Contreras Rangel, Jael.
The study research is carried out with a social motivation, because as an occupational therapist in training, the pillars of the discipline are based on being a profession with human quality and a social responsibility for each intervention process that is exercised during the training process to be carried out later in the professional practice, since it is intended to contribute to the occupational well-being of a population that is in a condition of vulnerability due to risk factors present in the environment, to try to compensate in some way those that have in the occupational trajectory the mark of the conflict. There is also an academic motivation since carrying out this study is part of the process to complete the training stage as an occupational therapist at the University of Santander, Cúcuta headquarters. The purpose of the research carried out was to analyze the incidence of environmental factors in the dysfunction of the occupational identity of young victims of armed conflict between the ages of 18 and 26, for this the methodology implemented was descriptive-correlational level of field design and thus to be able to establish the level of association of the variables. For the execution, the instrument of the historical occupational performance interview (OPHI-II) was applied to a sample of 18 young people identified as victims of the armed conflict between the ages of 18 and 26. Among the most relevant results found, it was obtained that the environment social and the main productive role, which is educational, are those that have an impact on the occupational identity of young people, primarily because of the importance of individual perception in relation to interaction with peers, which establishes or supports commitments and values acquired with the role, leading them to internalize it.
