    The development of the business practice in this thesis has the purpose of showing the progress of the civil engineering student Dennis Stiven Guerrero Marín, in the environmental entity, “Corporación Autónoma Regional para la Defensa de la Meseta de Bucaramanga (CDMB), where the internship process leaves an apprenticeship in which there is an approach between the labor field and the student. Mainly, in the business practice, it was held different functions expressed in different activities in which are included technical visits and the developing of a geological-geotechnical study, that includes topography, geology, land use and vegetation cover, hydrological analysis, geotechnical characterization, laboratory test analysis, seismology, the result of the geological-geotechnical model, stability analysis, and three alternatives of structural mitigation measures for erosion control. This work experience was highlighted in an exorbitant way to learn how to carry out technical-administrative activities, complying with the relevant regulations related to geotechnics, where there was a large-scale understanding of the magnitude of its importance for the public, and for learning how to improve skills to relate with civil engineering professionals, environmental, geologists, technologists in geotechnical and civil works, such as with people who filed lawsuits or petition rights in order to obtain a response from the CDMB. New knowledge about and interpretation of geotechnics is obtained, considering the erosion problems affecting the Bucaramanga plateau.

    In the present work, it specifies tasks and activities in addition to everything learned in business practice, in the construction of an educational institution for the municipality of Cantagallo - Bolivar, by the municipal administration and the planning secretary, which has as object, designs, constructions and audit. In this internship experience, new knowledge was acquired, the principles, ethical, personal and professional values that will affect the performance of the trade were corroborated. For the development of this business practice, first, administrative activities were raised, such as inspection of the information provided by the project, standing out in the revision of plans, schedule, budget and soil studies, second, giving safety talks on the work to all personnel and technical support especially in the follow-up of the activities proposed in the work plan. To comply with these activities, the following components will be considered: demolition, cleaning and adaptation of the land, earthworks, making foundations and concrete 1 and 2, making structural masonry, installation of floors and veneers level 1 and 2, installation of hydraulic system level 1 and 2, ramp structure for the disabled, reinforcing steel, realization of electrical installations, network against fire, external enclosure and sports center court, construction of stage and cafeteria, installation of network for natural gas, construction of sports court and bleachers, installation of structure and cover, Apply stucco and paint, Installation of doors and windows, Construction of external drainage system.

    Práctica empresarial como auxiliar de ingeniería civil en Interobras de Santander S.A.S desarrollando actividades técnico administrativas en la construcción de pilotes y pantallas ancladas en el departamento de Santander

    The following document describes the process of business practice carried out by the civil engineering student JOHAN SEBASTIÁN CADENA GÓMEZ corresponding to the University of Santander, the practice was carried out in the company INTEROBRAS DE SANTANDER S.A.S. It offers consulting services in geotechnical studies, structural designs and construction and supervision of civil works. The development of the business practice was based on administrative activities such as support in different projects, the elaboration of an investigation based on the different types of drilling and methods for the stabilization of the slopes, the realization of technical and economic proposals taking into account the technical specifications of the contractor, realization of architectural, structural, hydraulic, health and electrical plans in AutoCAD 2016, a three-dimensional architectural modeling in Revit, preparation of quantities of work, analysis of unit prices (APU), in addition field activities were carried out as the supervision and control of the different perforations (Micropiles, bolts and sub-rows), cutting minutes, elaboration of technical reports of work and the realization of laboratories (Modified Proctor, granulometry, liquid limit and plastic limit). To conclude, it can be said that in the activities carried out, the knowledge acquired during the civil engineering career was put into practice, unclear concepts were clarified, and the skill of facing new challenges was obtained, which allowed the professional horizon to be broadened.

    Práctica empresarial como auxiliar de Ingeniería Civil en la actualización del estudio de amenaza por fenómenos de remoción en masa y otras actividades de gestión del riesgo para la CDMB

    In the present work of degree, the activities carried out in the business practice are described as auxiliary of civil engineering for the - CDMB. This project contains a study of threats by mass removal phenomena, which will be described through a multi-phase methodology. Once the project is finished, the results are seen that, as a consequence, generate personal satisfaction of having contributed to the improvement of the quality of life in the community. In the CDMB there is a need to annually update the threat projects, such as the one elaborated in this study. In addition, different technical visits were made attending the incoming trades of the sub-directorate of Risk Management, each field visit was generated a technical report to assess the condition of the area; information was collected in the corporation database, for the development of the study update and risk management activities. Added to the final result, a series of lectures and trainings were made to the regional community of Soto Norte in order to teach them to react to the phenomena of Threat and Risk. In this internship it constituted a propitious space to acquire new knowledge, obtain expertise in the handling of situations under pressure and a significant aspect was the application of values and principles, ethical, professional and attitudinal as responsibility discipline, commitment that will be valuable in the development of professional performance.

    This document contains the business practice execution report, where the activities assigned to the student of practices in the selected work scenario are exposed, highlighting the experiences, knowledge and professional skills derived from it. In the specific case of the practice developed in Consulting and Engineering Alliance S.A.S company; The main professional experience as Engineer was to understand and known in a real context the significance and usefulness of geotechnical, vulnerability threat and risk studies, why, for what and especially how to make them to obtain a useful technical instrument and translatable into practice as a tool to control and mitigate eventualities affect in human life. Thus, the work done in that sense, began with learning how to technically and interdisciplinary make a study of vulnerability and risk threats, understand the role from civil engineering and from there, understand and know the behavior of the soil and its ecosystem environment, their historical data and with them and geotechnical information describe the context, identify the risks and define the elements of control, mitigation and relevant attention to contribute to the urban development is carried out in a context of sustainability, safety and technical development. The interdisciplinary work with geology, topography, architecture, environmental areas professionals among others, allowed to learn how to work in teams and acquire new knowledge, the internship was started from data collection through surveys, observation of the environment, inventory of elements in the field, topographic surveys, soil studies, among others. These activities also involved an administrative component of data analysis, consolidation of information, elaboration of hypothetical scenarios, in order to carry out the risk and vulnerability studies and then propose the relevant control and mitigation measures.

    Práctica empresarial como auxiliar de ingeniería civil en la obra de estabilización del derecho de vía del gasoducto Mariquita-Cali K1+100 mediante un muro de gaviones y canales colectores

    En el presente trabajo se especificaran las actividades además del aprendizaje adquirido en la práctica empresarial llevada a cabo en la empresa O&M INGENIERIA S.A.S la cual tiene por objeto social la construcción y prestación de servicios en las ramas de la ingeniería, tales como; asesorías, consultorías, diseños, construcción e interventorías. El desarrollo de la práctica empresarial se basó en actividades tales como la verificación de información primaria del proyecto, reconocimiento del terreno, estudios, registros y las especificaciones de la consultoría a realizar además de apoyo a los informes preliminares procesando la información de campo. Como actividades administrativas apoyar a la elaboración de proyectos, apoyo en la revisión análisis de precios unitarios y especificaciones técnicas; liderar y orientar el proceso de construcción y revisar documentación técnica necesaria. En cuanto a tareas de campo se realizaron actividades de revisión, supervisión, control y seguimiento de la obra que se ejecutó en la empresa. Para concluir esta argumentación se puede decir que en las actividades realizadas se puso en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos durante la carrera de ingeniería civil, se aclararon conceptos dudosos y se aprendieron nuevas tendencias en los procesos constructivos, además se obtuvo la experiencia de afrontar nuevos retos lo cual permitió la ampliación del horizonte profesional. No solamente se avanzó en la experiencia técnica sino también adquirir valores y principios éticos como la responsabilidad, dedicación, puntualidad, trabajo interdisciplinario, cumpliendo con la noble misión que tiene el ingeniero civil de proyectarse hacia la comunidad la cual es la de velar por el mejoramiento e incremento de la calidad de vida de la sociedad.

    La Corporación Autónoma Regional para la Defensa de la Meseta de Bucaramanga CDMB es un ente corporativo de carácter público, encargada la ejecución de las políticas, planes, programas y proyectos en materia de ambiente, recursos naturales renovables y cambio climático. El papel cumplido como practicante por la estudiante Silvia Nathalia Poveda Avendaño fue el apoyo en la Subdirección de Gestión del Riesgo Y Seguridad Territorial SURYT en donde se desarrolló gran variedad de actividades en el periodo comprendido entre el 1 agosto del 2018 al 20 de noviembre 2018, en las cuales pude desempeñar distintos roles que me sirvieron como experiencia en mi futuro como Ingeniería Civil; El desarrollo de la práctica empresarial se basó en actividades de campo y administrativas correspondientes a los proyectos en ejecución en la entidad (Análisis, Clasificación, Control y Reducción en eventos de erosión, remoción en masa, e inundación en el área de jurisdicción; y Adecuación Mejoramiento Reforzamiento y Modernización Del Laboratorio De Agua Aire Y Suelo De La CDMB) tales como se evidencia en la metodología del presente. Esta oportunidad de realizar la Práctica Empresarial en donde se puso en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos durante el proceso académico, es una gran opción para lograr adquirir experiencia en los diferentes campos de la Ingeniería Civil y aprender todo acerca de la realidad Profesional, para así poder aplicarlo en el diario vivir, además es importante mencionar que no solo se adquieren conocimientos en el ámbito laboral, sino que también se aprenden Valores, creando así una mejora en la calidad humana de cada profesional teniendo en cuenta la comunicación constaste con la comunidades en zonas vulnerables del área de jurisdicción.

    Práctica empresarial en calidad de auxiliar de ingeniería civil en INGETER S.A.S apoyando estudios de consultoría en el campo de la geotécnia en el departamento de Santander

    The present work summarizes the result of the technical and administrative procedures of the student Ivy Gissella Gómez Rodriguez, who executed the internship at Ingeniería del Terreno S.A.S as an Assistant of Civil Engineering. The practice has represented an ideal space to continue the academic training where technical and administrative actions were carried out, which will favor good performance as a professional. This business practice was mainly based on the execution of office activities, such as geotechnical reports to the director and preparation of technical and economic proposals to the clients who requested the service; As for the field part, the function of personnel management and control of tests such as SPT and densities was fulfilled, taking care that the standard was fulfilled regarding the preservation of soil samples and the respective procedure . Support was made in the execution of laboratory tests, with the guidance of the engineer in charge. Detailed descriptions of the different activities were made and there is a photographic record and annexes as proof of the function performed. Relevance of enthusiasm, dedication of the intern in the fulfillment of their functions and participation in an active way is made, contributing ideas for the different projects assigned, it was also a very interesting stage because attitudinal competencies were corroborated within which the commitment is highlighted , punctuality, responsibility and ethics, highlighting the experience acquired in the laboratory and interpersonal relationships with other professional disciplines.
