    Water is not only important for humans but also for animals. There is enough water on the planet but it is being wasted and polluting. Contaminated water generates pathogens and this leads to diseases. The quality of water for human consumption depends on the good conditions and the importance of its physical chemical and microbiological characteristics, which, if it is within the permissible values, is suitable for human consumption. The objective of this research was to analyze the microbiological quality of drinking water at the University of Santander campus Cúcuta in 2018 A. The methodology used was based on a descriptive study in which the presence or absence of some microorganisms in the Water. Among the instruments used in the collection of information, the INV16A F16 Format was used to survey 16 people linked to the University in different ways.
