    The project is located in the village of Sardinas - kilometer three (3), which leads to Santacruz de la Colina, municipality of Rionegro, Santander. The community of the area and the schoolchildren population require a sports center that provides a decent space for study, suitable for the practice of sports, recreation, and culture, for this purpose an alternative civil engineering solution was proposed. lead to satisfy the problems that this sector and its surroundings have. The communal action board of the village delivered a topographic map showing an available lot of 3088 M ^ 2, which contains the constructed area of 255 M ^ 2 of the school Pórtico and where the Polifuncional Center will be projected with an approximate area of 273 M ^ 2; In order to know the acceptance of the community on the present project, a survey was applied with the collaboration of the students of the subject Social Consultancy of the Civil Engineering Program of the University of Santander UDES who in turn supported the realization of the Topographic study that will serve as base to project the sports center that will have a micro-soccer, basketball and volleyball court. Technical studies were developed beginning with the analysis of soils to know their characteristics and determine the mechanical behavior as the carrying capacity; an architectural plan was designed that allows us to observe the plant, cuts, facade, roof and details and the Polifuncional Center; Likewise, a hydraulic concrete slab reinforced with electro-welded mesh was designed; structural modeling was carried out under the resistant earthquake norm (NSR-10); Finally, a budget that estimated approximately $ 380,000,000 (three hundred and eighty million pesos) was structured and calculated.

    This project intends to formulate a recreational, cultural and sporting scenario to an area, which presents weaknesses in places for sporting and cultural practice and exercise. Thus giving a solution to a problem that suffered a whole population and that is the fundamental right of every human being to have a physical and intuitive development for the conservation of their values. The sports center that will be developed in this project, has an area of 3450 m2 and will have an endowment of a polyfunctional indoor court standing out these disciplines; futsal, basketball and hand ball, all with their respective meshes of coupling for development of the activities given in the three sports. It will also offer spaces for fun and physical development, such as a platform for different events, games for children and outdoor gym, providing the community of Acapulco with a space to reduce leisure, bad habits and contributing to the decrease in the risk of drug dependence. It is of interest in training as a civil engineer to promote social, cultural and environmental responsibility, which is why the Acapulco community has a space that encourages its inhabitants to develop recreational and cultural activities, in order to improve their quality to a good lifestyle.
