The proposal that was put forward was the improvement of teaching-learning processes in the area of mathematics through the implementation of a VIRTUAL CLASSROOM correlated with the multidisciplinary STEAM approach with 5th grade students of the Humberto Gómez Nigrinis public school in Piedecuesta (Santander- Colombia). From school practice, the proposal sought integration and interdisciplinary with the help of learning-in-learning projects (PBL) and STEAM practices, to intervene in the problem of "poor performance in the area of mathematics", caused by low interest and little effort on the part of students in mathematical processes, little focus on mathematics in solving real problems and care of enriched environments that motivate the student in the area, among others. The STEAM approach was implemented through activities within the PBL, developed in Maker Spaces and driven by Collaborative Work and Computational Thinking; the activities revolved around solving problems with basic and contextualized operations in one problem: the Covid 19 Pandemic. The Virtual Classroom became a place where the themes were presented in a more playful and fun way, where the students were motivated, which was evident in the constant participation and feeding of the platform with individual and group activities. The learning obtained at the end of the implementation of the proposal, by the 36 students, was positive, achieving the progress and expectations expected in the area of mathematics
