The main objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between the risk factors associated with toxoplasmosis positive in pregnant women and the consequences on the sensory motor development of the congenitally infected child. A quantitative non-experimental cross-sectional design study has been outlined. For this study, 20 women with positive toxoplasmosis serology and 20 children of these mothers with congenital toxoplasma positive were selected, where children with negative toxoplasma in the different quarters and mothers who were not included in the study were excluded from the study. Population (negative toxoplasm). For the evaluation of risk factors in pregnant mother with positive toxoplasma, a survey of the Unsatisfied Basic Needs (NBI) was used as a tool. For the evaluation of motor sensory development of children with congenital toxoplasma positive, we used as a study tool the Abbreviated Development Scale, to analyze the data obtained if there are alterations or not in their motor sensory development; To establish if there is a relationship between congenital positive toxoplasmosis infection and motor sensory development, the SPSS program was used as a tool. The results obtained from the analysis of the risk factors that can influence pregnant women with positive serology, the results obtained from the evaluation of the sensory motor development of children exposed to the maternal toxoplasma infection, will be shown. The results obtained to establish If there is a relationship between congenital toxoplasma infection and motor sensory development. The results of the evaluation of possible risk factors of pregnant women with positive serology will be presented according to the Unsatisfied Basic Needs (Quarters in which toxoplasmosis was presented, pets, educational level, source of income, housing condition, water supply , Floor material, wall material, roofing material, sanitation, handwashing, fruit and vegetable washing). The results obtained from the different 18 developmental categories obtained by the children of the sample (Alert, medium, high, high, high) will be presented, the results obtained between the relationship between congenital toxoplasma infection and motor sensory development according to the Analysis that throws the program SPSS according to the variables. The most relevant results were: 1) there is no relationship between the gestation period in which toxoplasma was acquired during pregnancy and the consequences on the sensory motor development of the congenitally infected child; 2) the highest prevalence of Toxoplasma infection is in the According to the abbreviated scale of development, 3) children infected with congenital Toxoplasma present alterations in the areas of hearing and speech and gross motor skills, and 4) some socio-demographic factors such as stratum, source of Income, educational level of mother and area of origin may have some relation to the sensorimotor development of children infected with congenital Toxoplasma.
