La presente investigación está basada en la temática de las prevalencias patologías que están asociadas al tratamiento fisioterapéutico y que se pueden ocasionar en su mayoría mediante la actividad laboral. En ese sentido, el objetivo general fue determinar la prevalencia de las patologías en los servicios de fisioterapia de Valledupar y su relación con el componente laboral; además como objetivo específico fue identificar la población de personas laboralmente activas que fueron atendidas. Por otro lado, la metodología se realizó a través de un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental. Asimismo, la población estuvo conformada por 450 pacientes de las entidades CEMPRI, IDREEC, SANDRA GOMEZ, los principales centros de rehabilitación de Valledupar, donde se tomó una muestra de 146 pacientes eligiéndolos según criterios para su inclusión. El instrumento de recolección de datos utilizado fue el cuestionario, el cual sirvió para el análisis de los resultados donde se demostró que durante los meses febrero, marzo y abril se atendieron 134 pacientes activos y 12 inactivos laboralmente, de los cuales los que más prevalecieron por síndrome de túnel carpiano; fueron docentes y secretarias. Concluyendo que es necesario tomar acciones en cuanto a las condiciones ergonómicas que tenga cualquier lugar de trabajo y así poder minimizar la frecuencia de estas patologías que inciden en el bienestar de los individuos que hacen parte de la fuerza productiva del país.

The present investigation is based on the thematic of the prevalences pathologies that are associated to the physiotherapeutic treatment and that can be caused in the majority by the work activity. In that sense, the general objective was to determine the prevalence of pathologies in the physiotherapy services of Valledupar and its relation with the labor component; In addition, the specific objective was to identify the population of labor-intensive people who were served. On the other hand, the methodology was carried out through a quantitative approach, with non-experimental design. The population was composed of 450 patients from CEMPRI, IDREEC, SANDRA GOMEZ, the main rehabilitation centers of Valledupar, where a sample of 146 patients were selected and selected according to criteria for inclusion. The data collection instrument used was the questionnaire, which was used to analyze the results, showing that during February, March and April, 134 active and 12 inactive workers were attended, of which the most prevalent Carpal tunnel syndrome; Were teachers and secretaries. Concluding that it is necessary to take action on the ergonomic conditions that have any workplace and thus be able to minimize the frequency of these pathologies that affect the welfare of individuals who are part of the productive force of the country.
