El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad desarrollar el diseño geométrico de la vía de acceso al barrio la Diva del municipio de Piedecuesta, con dos alternativas de pavimento y con base a la norma INVIAS utilizando herramientas como Infraworks para la obtención de la topografía del barrio; también se emplea la herramienta AutoCAD civil 3D para realizar el renderizado de la vía cumpliendo con la norma INVIAS; por último se hará el diseño del pavimento rígido y flexible para la conexión de la zona en estudio con la vía de acceso. Para realización del proyecto fue necesario recopilar información sobre el área afectada, para ello se realizaron visitas de campo a fin de recolectar datos, en las cuales se tomaron fotografías como evidencia de la problemática y se procedió a realizar el estudio de tránsito para conocer la capacidad vehicular que transita por el barrio; también se concertó una reunión con funcionarios de la oficina de Planeación de Piedecuesta donde se constató que del área afectada no se han realizado estudios técnicos, por lo tanto se hizo necesario emplear estudios de zonas aledañas al sector donde se va a desarrollar el proyecto. Con este trabajo se busca contribuir con el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los habitantes del barrio la Diva del municipio de Piedecuesta minimizando el impacto generado por la falta de una vía que lo comunique con el casco urbano de Piedecuesta, dado que constantemente el corredor existente se vuelve un lodazal por las lluvias constantes lo cual provoca accidentes y atascamientos en el sector además de los múltiples daños ocasionados a los vehículos por culpa del mal estado de la vía.

The following project is carried out by students of civil engineering of last semester of the University of Santander (UDES) which aims to design the road, the rigid pavement and the flexible pavement of the access road to the neighborhood La Diva of the municipality of Piedecuesta based on the INVIAS standard using tools such as Infraworks to obtain the topography of the neighborhood La Diva, also the tool AutoCAD civil 3D will be used to make the geometric design based on the INVIAS norm and its respective rendering and finally the Excel program by which the calculation of the rigid and flexible pavement for the road will be made. To carry out the project it was necessary to gather information about the affected area, field visits were made to collect data in which photographs were taken as evidence of the problem and a traffic study was conducted to determine the vehicular capacity that travels through the neighborhood, also an appointment was made with the planning office of Piedecuesta in which it was found that the affected area has not been studied, given this mishap we proceeded to search for studies near the sector and using the tools mentioned above we proceeded to the development of the project. The purpose of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the La Diva neighborhood in the municipality of Piedecuesta, seeking to minimize the impact generated by the lack of a road that communicates it with the urban center of Piedecuesta, given that the existing corridor constantly becomes a quagmire due to the constant rains, which causes accidents and traffic jams in the sector, in addition to the multiple damages caused to vehicles due to the poor condition of the road
