In the first instance, a co-creation work was developed to create the MEMEBOX toolbox, a box that has the purpose of being a tool for the realization of the co-design workshops that were carried out with the community of the Café Madrid neighborhood of Bucaramanga, for the restoration of their collective memory. For its development, the co-design methodology was implemented, this methodology consisted of being able to involve all the members that participate in the creative process. This arises as a proposed solution to the lack of digital media that collect personal stories of people, which are free from the manipulation inherent in the creation of content in a traditional way. This methodology favored being able to comply with the results that were wanted to be achieved with the practice, which was the restitution of the collective memory of the community of the Café Madrid Bucaramanga neighborhood. The methodology was applied given the active participation of community leaders. To end the practice, a communication strategy is proposed, which has as its general objective the creation of a participatory communication channel where the people of Café Madrid can make the process of restitution of their memory visible.
