El presente proyecto investigativo, cuyo objetivo principal fue desarrollar una estrategia pedagógica apoyada en una aplicación móvil, la cual favoreciera el uso de las normas ortográficas en estudiantes de grado sexto de dos instituciones educativas, se propuso impactar dicha comunidad en el campo de la ortografía. La temática, se abordó con una investigación de tipo cuantitativa, detallando las dificultades observadas mediante una prueba diagnóstica para luego, diseñar, construir y aplicar la propuesta pedagógica que, motivó a los 40 participantes del proyecto, hacia la aprehensión de las normas ortográficas. Luego que los estudiantes tuvieron contacto con la aplicación móvil APPTOR, se pudo determinar que, en una de las IE el nivel de mejoría en función de respuestas correctas aumentó en un 16% mientras que en la segunda IE fue de 7%. Dentro de las conclusiones más relevantes se cuentan, el mejoramiento de las competencias ortográficas en los estudiantes intervenidos. Los estudiantes manifestaron no haber sentido motivación hacia el aprendizaje de las normas ortográficas antes del trabajo realizado con la App APTOR, situación que cambió luego de aplicada la propuesta pedagógica. Los estudiantes empezaron a cuidar la manera cómo escribían en sus conversaciones por redes sociales y trabajos académicos. Los estudiantes participantes del proyecto, comprobaron que, el uso de los teléfonos celulares, puede ir más allá del uso que comúnmente le da un joven, manifestando que aprender puede ser igual de divertido que jugar. Finalmente, cabe resaltar que el proceso investigativo se dio en pleno aislamiento por cuenta de la pandemia generada por el Covid-19, hecho que obligó a los investigadores a realizar modificaciones con respecto al diseño inicial; sin embargo, este hecho no impidió que la investigación se llevara a cabo y por el contrario impactó positivamente la vida académica de la población intervenida.

The present research project, whose main objective was to develop a pedagogical strategy supported by a mobile application, which favored the use of spelling norms in sixth grade students from two educational institutions, set out to impact said community in the field of spelling. The subject was approached with a quantitative research, detailing the difficulties observed through a diagnostic test and then designing, building and applying the pedagogical proposal that motivated the 40 participants of the project, towards the apprehension of the norms spelling. After the students had contact with the APPTOR mobile application, it was determined that, in one of the EIs, the level of improvement based on correct answers increased by 16% while in the second EI it was 7%. Among the most relevant conclusions are the improvement of spelling skills in the intervened students. The students stated that they did not feel motivated towards learning the spelling rules before working with the APTOR App, a situation that changed after the pedagogical proposal was applied. The students began to take care of the way they wrote in their conversations on social networks and academic papers. The students participating in the project verified that the use of cell phones can go beyond the common use of a young person, stating that learning can be as fun as playing. Finally, it should be noted that the investigative process took place in full isolation due to the pandemic generated by Covid-19, a fact that forced the researchers to make modifications with respect to the initial design; However, this fact did not prevent the investigation from being carried out and, on the contrary, had a positive impact on the academic life of the intervened population
