The rotator cuff injury is the total or partial rupture of the tendons of the muscles that comprise the same, producing important limitations in the functionality of the patients, due to the presentation of their symptomatology. The aim of the present descriptive and field type study was to analyze the sociodemographic, etiological and functional characteristics in patients with rotator cuff postoperative medical society los samanes in Cúcuta, norte Santander, 2017- 2018. The instruments used to identify risk factors, sociodemographic and functional characteristics; were the survey carried out by the authors themselves and the abbreviated version of the Dash test, applied to a sample of 50 patients.
