    Research topics and the strengthening of the profession have always been within the priorities of the Program. The EVEREST research group. The UDES Nursing Program. To describe what has been the trend in the research generated in the research lines of the nursing program of the University of Santander. This is a study of Quantitative Approach, Type of Study: Descriptive, Design: Retrospective, based on the revision of the RAIE Database of the Nursing program. Abstracts of research work of teachers and students of the Nursing Program, included in the EVEREST Research Group. Type of Sampling: Population Sample: 124 articles found in the RAIE. A total of 124 abstracts of research projects were included that have been carried out during the period of 2008 to 2017-A, retrieved from the RAIE database; Table 2, describes the distribution by year in which there is less production of projects in 2008 with 6 projects (4.8%), in 2016 with 9 projects (7.3%) and the year where the project was presented the most it was 2014 with 19 projects (15.3%). Comparing with the period 2008-2010 an increase in the research line of Community Care and Public Health can be identified, initially as a result of 37% and for 2017, 48%, an increase of 11% was obtained from 2011 to the 2017-To the teachers Claudia Consuelo Torres Contreras and María Stella Campos de Aldana each with 19.4 (24 articles).
