- PublicaciónRestringidoComparación In Vitro de la Capacidad Invasiva de dos Formulaciones de Base del Hongo Beauveria Bassiana Como Control Biológico de Opsiphanes Cassina.(Cúcuta: Universidad de Sántander, 2017, 2017-06-22) Gómez Tinoco, Diego Alejandro; Contreras García, Cielo Viviana; Diaz Castañeda, Claudia-Elizabeth; Contreras Rangel, Jael. The invasive capacity of two formulations (powder and liquid) based on Beauveria bassiana on this pest insect Opsiphanes cassina was compared in the laboratory, microbiological tests were performed, which yielded similar values in the two formulations, invasive capacity through the germination or viability test where the solid formulation yielded 100% and 80% of germinated spores, while the liquid formulation showed a similar value between 98% and 97.4% of germinated spores, act as an insect controller. The microbiological quality was evaluated by the purity test, which showed values of 100% in the two formulations, being established as a suitable proportion of the biological agent. Similarly, the Beauveria bassiana spore concentration test reached a concentration of 1010 in the two formulations, indicating that high concentrations were obtained, which were effective on Opsiphanes cassina, with a higher mortality in the liquid formulation, which corresponded to 100% at 6 days after application of the product, on the contrary, the solid formulation was found 80% at 6 days. In conclusion, in the microbiological tests it was observed that both presentations did not present significant differences, however, the liquid formulation is considered better because its production is achieved in less time and the mortality of the insects occurs in 6 days.
