    The strategy of primary health care and disease prevention, articulated should create comprehensive and favorable conditions from the concept of resisting the disease and increase the conditions for a favorable health environment, through a set of activities contemplated in two levels "General Promotion of Health" through health promotion strategies and programs that favor personal, community and social development, in a way that transcends in the communities, in contexts that propitiate the holistic with environments and possibilities of each territory in order to take into account the different social, cultural and economic systems. Therefore, the following work entitled "Systematic review of the literature on barriers in the application of the strategy of Primary Health Care in Colombia from the scheme of Health Promotion and Prevention" based on Primary Health Care (APS) as a strategy for organizing health care, and the barriers that prevent its applicability with effective criteria and its impact on the community. Likewise, the scope of its territorial goals with public policies, strategic plans, promotion programs, prevention to reach its objectives developed by health personnel, with support from other sectors and in cooperation with the community. The general objective is to evaluate the barriers in the application of the strategy of Primary Health Care in Colombia, from the scheme of Health Promotion and Prevention. With a descriptive research methodology, the information obtained from the general search in the databases Medline, Scielo, Dynamed, Redalyc and later, a specific search was carried out, adding exact terms and limiting searches according to what we wanted to address.
