An early diagnose makes the difference between life and dead. The screening with the cervico vaginal cytology and performing the colposcopy are the key strategies to detect in time the cervical cáncer. The access given to women to the taking of cytology has improved nationwide but in the case of the colposcopy, there remains multiple limitations to achieve adequate coverage and guarantee achievements goals. Objective: achieve the traceability of data of women with cervical pathology that attended the “CSG” during the period of 2009-2013 by November 2015 and that presented an altered cytology result with a probability to develop pre invasive or invasive injury of the cervix. Methodology: through the design of combined methods of observacional study retro and prospective cohort and subsequent application of a semi - structured interview to a focus group. Population: Girardot Health Centre’s users with altered cytologies. Sample: Retrospective cohort of 250 medical records of users who presented altered cytologies convenience sample of 12 women of the final study sample. Instruments: Medical histories, direct observation and survey. Results: By the year 2013, 16.4 (41) women presented a negative result. From this group, 17,0%, where negative in the year 2014 and 42,8% had a negative control on 2015. The other 82,9% did not have any control on 2014 and 26,4% presented a negative control by the year 2015. Conclusion: The early detection of the cervical pathology, improves the prognostic and the progression of the illness, but still there are administrative barriers who limit the favorable results, issued by EAPB.
