    Pressure injuries are a public health problem due to it produce deterioration in patientes quality of live and increase hospitalary costs. Also are considered an adverse event related the quality of health provision service, as stipulated in the social protection ministry decree number 1011 of 2006. The porpuse of this document was to search for bibliographic material related to interventions and educational strategies for the prevention of LPP. As a result, to take recommendations of scientific evidence in nursing care according to the guidelines of the Ontario Nurses Association, to desing a protocol for the mobilization of adult patients with the risk of developing LPP in the Intensive Care Unit. Objective: To design protocol for the mobilization of patients at risk of developing pressure injuries from an adult intensive care unit (ICU-A) for the mobilization of patients at risk of developing LPP in an adults intensive care unit based on current scientific evidence of nursing care Methodology: A narrative review article was made. Data was obteined from the databases EBSCO Host, Sciverse, Pubmed, VHL, Scielo journals and Revista Chilena de Enfermería, the instructional package of the social protection ministry, and clinical practice guidelines using the following keywords: pressure injuries, adult intensive care, educational strategy. Results: 21 articles related to the presence of pressure injuries and effective tools for the prevention and education of personnel in charge of direct care in patients admitted to adult intensive care units were chosen. A protocol of mobilization for patients at risk of developing pressure injuries in the adult intensive care unit was developed. Conclusions: The implementation of patient mobilization protocols based on nursing guidelines and the continuing education of personnel in charge of direct patient care produce prevention strategies and reduction of pressure injuries in adult intensive care units, improving quality of health care.
