Curso de Adiestramiento Virtual en las Competencias Matemáticas a Través de la Plataforma Khan Academy para los Estudiantes de Primer Semestre en la Universidad Udes sede Valledupar
(Universidad de Santander, 2022-07-11) Gordon-Araujo, Juan Pablo; Gordon Hernández, Yimy
The purpose of the research lies in the creation of a virtual training course, where the determination of the academic performance of the first semester students of the University of Santander UDES Valledupar headquarters in the different competitions that are carried out in the area was given. of Mathematics, managed by ICFES, during the period (2022 I), later in the identification of students' shortcomings and the generation of action plans to strengthen performance in the area of Mathematics. The applied methodology is situated in a non-experimental, transactional design with an explanatory level and field type. The population is the first semester students with a sample of 189 that appeared in the survey. The use of the design of a Likert-type instrument was carried out in order to analyze the results through statistical analysis. For the creation of the virtual training courses, the analysis of the results of the survey was carried out for each student, emphasizing the competences that are developed in the area, later the shortcomings were identified according to the competence and the components were determined. of the course that were included at the individual level according to the results. According to Hernández, R., Fernández, C. and Baptista, M. (2014), "they consider that inferential techniques are the set of statistical procedures in which the application of probability models intervenes and through which some based on populations based on sample information. Inferential analyzes are necessary when you want to do something sustained about the study population. It makes the conclusions for the entire population be made in a controlled manner.” Descriptive statistics were applied through tables and graphs of frequencies of the variables of interest.
