The research refers to musculoskeletal disorders acquired by the operators of a ceramic manufacturing company, Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, exposed to occupational hazards. They were identified by means of instruments, with which it was possible to characterize the sociodemographic aspects; through the survey of health and work conditions, establish health conditions through the Nordic questionnaire, and identify the level of risk to which they are exposed with the REBA method; Its methodological design had a quantitative approach, since it is associated with biomechanical risk factors and these results were determined, a type of descriptive study was chosen, since the investigation was informed and interpreted. A population of 484 was taken, with a sample of 178 operators from the production, transfer and loading area, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria; In the description of variables, the variables are identified: dependent, which corresponds to skeletal muscle disorders, which are a set of lesions and symptoms that affect the musculoskeletal system, and the independent one that concerns risk factors, defined as any trait or exposure of an individual that increases their likelihood of suffering a disease or injury; As a technique for data analysis, there was the implementation of one-dimensional distributions and an EXCEL program. In results, a greater relevance was observed in the male sex, which are in the age ranges of 35-44 years, where 56.2% have suffered a work accident, these workers have discomfort mainly in the spine; With the study, it was concluded that the majority of work areas require the necessary attention soon, due to a latent biomechanical risk triggered by inadequate and forced postures.

The ergonomics of the work is the set of scientific knowledge aimed at improving the work, its systems, products and environments to adapt to the physical and mental capacities and limitations of the person, in order to avoid accidents and pathologies that affect workers in all areas, likewise this science seeks to reduce physical and mental fatigue and increase the level of satisfaction in the work environment of the worker. Today, the safety and health protection of workers has been increased. To determine the ergonomic risk factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders of brickworkers at Sigma LTD in Cúcuta, North of Santander for 2019. the research is descriptive-quantitative, cross-cutting, the 72 workers of the Sigma LTD brick factory were taken as a study population. From Cúcuta, North of Santander. The instrument used to obtain the data was a sociodemographic survey to know important factors such as: age, gender, job, extra activities. Among others. The REBA method was also applied to each of the workers. Through experimentation, ergonomic risk factors could be identified according to the method applied. Prevalence in charges requiring intervention under the REBA method was presented to all workers where an average risk was determined, through direct observation and survey application. action is needed to control the risk. Ergonomic intervention for the reduction of the level of risk of musculoskeletal disorders in barge workers is inescapable. Since by applying the REBA Method, it was possible to determine that 55% of workers are at an average risk of conditions due to activities carried out in their workplace.
