    Evaluación del cumplimiuento de las condiciones de habilitación en el área biomédica de INDERSANTANDER y propuesta de mejoramiento

    The Mandatory Health Quality Assurance System established by decree 1011 of 2006 "is the set of norms, requirements, and systematic processes developed by the health sector to generate, maintain and improve the quality of health services in the country. It also determines one of the four components, the Unified Enabling System, where it determines the basic conditions that Health Service providers must meet to enable services. The objective of this work is to evaluate the fulfillment of the qualification conditions in the Biomedical service of Indersantander with the purpose of proposing an improvement plan in the year 2018. In order to achieve the objectives established in the work, three phases are determined: verifying the fulfillment of the conditions of the unique rating system in the Biomedical service by means of a checklist; prioritize the results by means of the traffic signaling table; finally, create a proposal for improvement according to the findings in the Biomedical area of Indersantander in 2018. With results obtained it is observed that currently the service is operating without the minimum standards and requirements that Colombian law requires for the provision of health services, directly impacting the quality of service provision, the safety of users and workers in the area; Carrying possible future legal sanctions. It is necessary to highlight that a service is provided and carrying out processes without a proper documentation or foundation, which serves as a support for what to do in Biomedical. From the above, a proposal for improvement is prepared to be implemented within the biomedical area, in order to guide the service in order to provide optimal, effective, efficient and quality care under the minimum qualification standards currently required.
