    Final work of the REDESIGN OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN for a SANTANDER IPS. BUCARAMANGA HEADQUARTERS, which contains the reconstruction of the strategic platform of the institution where the follow-up to be carried out is observed in order to improve its competence in the so changing competitive market; in addition, the guidelines and the support of a working method are methodologically required in order to guarantee their 100% implementation, and of course their respective follow-up; all for the sole purpose that the institution begin the path to continuous improvement. The research begins with the development of the problem and diagnosis of the current situation of the institution, where it was taken into account from the external to the internal part of the IPS, is continued with the competitive analysis that the company has in the current market; all this through three stages in which the restructuring of its strategic platform is developed step by step. It is necessary to clarify that, within the analysis carried out in the IPS, it was difficult to carry out a detailed study in the financial part, because it is classified information that was not provided, for this reason, a thorough and general examination was carried out in order to be able to carry out the report. Therefore, the development, implementation and evaluation of the Strategic Plan for the IPS was carried out in a general way in terms of strategic management in which strategic planning is finally carried out.
