We analyzed the textbook illustrations of three Colombians elementary school social studies books in order to determine the presence of discriminatory features from the color of the skin. We developed four analytical categories (gender, occupation, background and clothing) with their respective subcategories. The results demonstrate the presence of images containing discriminatory with respect to the Afrocolombian.
