    The present study focuses on public health, habits and lifestyles represent all the factors and factors that act on the inhabitants of an urbanization object of study, whose objective was to make a diagnosis of health and health conditions in the homes of the Nando Marín urbanization in the municipality of Valledupar. Taking as a theoretical basis the sanitarian, miasmatic and political idea was maintained during the second half of the 19th century, influencing public policies; Similarly, we refer to the income of the family, the conditions of the physical infrastructure of the houses and the irrigation that are on the list. Therefore, in the present study a descriptive investigation with field design was carried out, as main sources of reliable information in theses, books, articles, among others. The study population was 96 dwellings, to which a form was applied, where the necessary information was obtained for the initial diagnosis and the relevant qualitative analysis. Concluding, that families present health inequalities due to inequalities in some factors such as social and economic means than those that are present, which harm the family culture and this time theirs habits and healthy lifestyles and safety of each Housing, which over time the factors relate to factors that are directly related to the health and life of the study population, thus influencing their habits and healthy lifestyles and risk of getting sick in the future.
