The present study focuses on public health, habits and lifestyles represent all the factors and factors that act on the inhabitants of an urbanization object of study, whose objective was to make a diagnosis of health and health conditions in the homes of the Nando Marín urbanization in the municipality of Valledupar. Taking as a theoretical basis the sanitarian, miasmatic and political idea was maintained during the second half of the 19th century, influencing public policies; Similarly, we refer to the income of the family, the conditions of the physical infrastructure of the houses and the irrigation that are on the list. Therefore, in the present study a descriptive investigation with field design was carried out, as main sources of reliable information in theses, books, articles, among others. The study population was 96 dwellings, to which a form was applied, where the necessary information was obtained for the initial diagnosis and the relevant qualitative analysis. Concluding, that families present health inequalities due to inequalities in some factors such as social and economic means than those that are present, which harm the family culture and this time theirs habits and healthy lifestyles and safety of each Housing, which over time the factors relate to factors that are directly related to the health and life of the study population, thus influencing their habits and healthy lifestyles and risk of getting sick in the future.

El presente estudio orientado en salud pública, hábitos y estilos de vida saludables representada todos esos factores y determinantes que actúan sobre habitantes de una urbanización objeto de estudio, cuyo objetivo fue realizar un diagnóstico de las condiciones sanitarias y de salud en las viviendas de la urbanización Nando Marín del municipio de Valledupar. Teniendo como bases teóricas la idea sanitarista, miasmática y am¬bientalista se mantuvo durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, influyendo en las políticas públicas; de igual manera hacemos referencia a los ingresos de la familia, a condiciones de la infraestructura física de las viviendas y riego al que estén expuestos. Por lo anterior, en el presente estudio se realizó una investigación descriptiva con diseño de campo, tomando como fuentes principales de información confiables en tesis, libros, artículos entre otros. La población estudio fueron 96 viviendas, a los cuales se les aplico un formulario, donde se obtuvo la información necesaria para el diagnóstico inicial y el análisis cualitativo pertinente. Concluyendo, que las familias presentan inequidades sanitarias por las desigualdades en algunos factores como los sociales y económicos a las que están expuestos, las cuales perjudican la cultura familiar y esta a su vez afecta los hábitos y estilos de vida saludable y de seguridad de cada vivienda, que con el tiempo generan factores negativos que afectan directamente a la salud y la vida de la población estudio, influyendo así en sus hábitos y estilos de vida saludable y por ende el riesgo de enfermar en el futuro.
