    Herramienta de Divulgación sobre la Reducción de Biodiversidad en Colombia

    Este proyecto aborda la problemática de la pérdida de biodiversidad en Colombia, un país megadiverso gravemente afectado por el cambio climático, la deforestación y actividades como la ganadería y minería. Según el Ministerio de Ambiente, 1,302 especies están amenazadas, lo que pone en riesgo el equilibrio ecológico y la calidad de vida humana. Basado en datos de fuentes como WWF, Greenpeace e IPBES, el trabajo destaca la urgencia de acciones inmediatas para frenar este deterioro, enmarcándolo dentro de la Agenda 2030 y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). La propuesta explora el diseño gráfico como una herramienta esencial para sensibilizar e informar sobre esta crisis ambiental. A través de soluciones visuales creativas, se busca generar conciencia, promover prácticas sostenibles y motivar un cambio de actitud hacia la conservación de la biodiversidad. Este enfoque integral tiene como fin contribuir al bienestar del planeta y todas las especies que lo habitan.

    Impacto financiero de la puesta en marcha del Sendero ecológico de la UDES

    The University of Santander has a privileged area of natural resources and environmental policy addressed by the department GREEN UDES; which promotes, coordinates and conducts research and initiatives aimed at building a positive attitude towards the care, development, and environmental preservation. Hence the need to establish the financial impact for the design of a Nature Trail arises, which required determining the value of the implementation through the technical and economic evaluation was possible to know the final cost of the investment. For the development of this project were carried out technical field visits, photographic records, meetings with experts and with the landscape designer; where actions and needs were identified, compared to the approval of architectural design. The project proposes a route with minimal intervention for educational and instructional purposes, scientists primarily for administrative academic community and the general public, to generate membership and ecological awareness. The proposal includes activities to promote contact with nature through viewpoints towards the city and the hill, educational and thematic stations, among others. The access area will be the only major intervention with colorful trees and terraced with wooden buildings, organically and reflects the spirit of the project. Finally it was concluded that this project will provide the community an added value, to mitigate the impact of the carbon footprint produced by the operation of the University, as it will allow them to live a learning experience and natural coexistence with the environment in a harmoniously way.
