    Estudio de factibilidad para crear un instituto de promoción y prevención en salud en el municipio de San Gil

    To study the feasibility of creating an exclusive Institute for Health Promotion and Prevention aimed at the population sangileña to implement promotion and prevention programs and thus have a healthy population and decrease morbidity and mortality rates of preventable diseases. JUSTIFICATION: Create a unique center in Promotion and Health Prevention, it will demonstrate that offering comprehensive way, improves quality of life. The State will achieve significant savings in financial resources currently used to cover the cost derived from patients with preventable diseases and their complications. METHODS: Cross-sectional survey; Two surveys were applied, one to the EPS and IPS and other users, for the latter a sample of 382 user took, divided into two groups, users who have attended programs Promotion and Prevention and users who have not attended. The data were analyzed according to the nature of the variables. RESULTS: The survey of health institutions evidence that there are 68541 of 25393 users who use the services of Promotion and Prevention, none provides all programs and there is poor advertising. From the survey of users, over 70% do not know the programs and agree that the attention of the service is average, not participate in them mainly due to ignorance. There will be a 44.4% profit. DISCUSSION: the reluctance of health institutions was determined to run programs P y P. The data show that there is a timely focus on the provision of Promotion and Prevention and negatively respond to the needs of the population. In the analysis of costs and budgets shows that it is feasible to create an exclusive Institute for Health Promotion and Prevention. CONCLUSIONS: According to the results set is feasible, useful and feasible to create the Institute for Health Promotion and Prevention in the town of San Gil.

    Viaje al reino de los hongos es una propuesta pedagógica interactiva desarrollada colectivamente con niños y niñas de la fundación Hope de Bucaramanga para promover la apropiación de conocimientos sobre los hongos, a través de narraciones creativas que fueron ilustradas mediante un proceso de co-creación artística liderado por el maestro Ángel Darío Meneses Pimiento. A través de sus páginas el lector descubrirá la importancia de los hongos para el planeta y los riesgos que representan aquellos que tienen un potencial infeccioso.
