El Laboratorio de Diagnóstico e Investigación Animed LTDA es una institución privada que ofrece servicios de diagnóstico veterinario e investigación en la industria avícola y Porcicola, mediante tecnologías de punta. El cual se compone por tres áreas las cuales son serología, microbiología y biología molecular. De acuerdo con los procedimientos realizados en el área de biología molecular se desea implementar PCR en tiempo real utilizando un kit comercial para la detección del virus de Newcastle. Esta enfermedad es causada por cepas virulentas de paramixovirus tipo 1 (APMV-1), del género Orthoavulavirus, perteneciente a la familia Paramyxoviridae. Es una infección altamente contagiosa que puede afectar a todas las aves. Es por ello que se realiza la primera fase de verificación del kit ID GeneTM Newcastle disease Duplex (IDNDV) desarrollado por Innovative Diagnostics que se basa en el método de PCR en tiempo real. Para la detección del virus de la enfermedad de Newcastle a partir de hisopos, órganos y tarjeta de almacenamiento de ácido nucleico. En el cual se demostró que la prueba es apta para el uso previsto, en el diseño de esta primera fase de verificación se tuvo en cuenta los parámetros descritos en la norma ISO/IEC 17025:2017, como parte del aseguramiento de calidad de los resultados.

The Animed LTDA Diagnostic and Research Laboratory is a private institution that offers veterinary diagnostic and research services in the poultry and pork industry, using cutting-edge technologies. Which is made up of three areas which are serology, microbiology and molecular biology. According to the procedures carried out in the area of molecular biology, it is desired to implement real-time PCR using a commercial kit for the detection of Newcastle virus. This disease is caused by virulent strains of paramyxovirus type 1 (APMV-1), of the genus Orthoavulavirus, belonging to the Paramyxoviridae family. It is a highly contagious infection that can affect all birds. This is why the first phase of verification of the KIT ID GeneTM Newcastle Disease Duplex (IDNDV) developed by Innovative Diagnostics, which is based on the real-time PCR method, is carried out. For the detection of Newcastle disease virus from swabs, organs and nucleic acid storage card. In which it is demonstrated that the test is suitable for the intended use, in the design of this first verification phase the parameters described in the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard were taken into account, as part of the quality assurance of the results.
