El propósito de la presente investigación fue construir una estrategia pedagógica y una APP para apoyar la comprensión de reglas gramaticales del inglés en el grado undécimo del Colegio Fernando Soto Aparicio. El trabajo se realizó con 32 estudiantes que participaron durante todo el proceso. La investigación se enmarca en un enfoque mixto y descriptivo, la cual presentó cuatro fases para su realización: Análisis y viabilidad del proyecto, diseño y aplicación de los instrumentos de recolección de datos, implementación y uso de la APP y evaluación de los alcances. El alcance del trabajo investigativo consistió en transformar los procesos pedagógicos para el estudio de la gramática del idioma inglés dentro y fuera del aula con la mediación de las TIC, con el fin de fomentar la entendimiento y uso de una segunda lengua como lo es el inglés en los estudiantes de grado undécimo, preparándolos para la vida académica y laboral. Por medio de la implementación de la investigación, se fortaleció la competencia gramatical del inglés en los estudiantes que hicieron parte de este proceso investigativo, motivando su aprendizaje a través de una herramienta tecnológica (Una APP). Por ende, se concluye que la mediación de las TIC y el uso de una APP contribuyó significativamente en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de los estudiantes focalizados, aumentando la correcta aplicación de las reglas gramaticales de inglés. Finalmente, la investigación realiza un aporte social interesante, al dinamizar las prácticas educativas dentro y fuera del aula, fomentando la motivación y el autoaprendizaje de los participantes

The purpose of this research was to build a pedagogical strategy and an application to support the understanding of grammatical rules of English in the eleventh grade of Colegio Fernando Soto Aparicio. The investigation was carried out with 32 students who participated throughout the process. The study is framed in a mixed and descriptive approach, which presented four phases for its realization: Analysis and feasibility of the project, Design and application of data collection instruments, implementation and use of the APP and Evaluation of the scope. The outreach of the investigative job consisted in transforming the pedagogical processes for the study of the grammar of the English language inside and outside the classroom with the mediation of ICT, in order to promote the understanding and use of a second language such as English in eleventh grade students, preparing them for academic and work life. Through the implementation of the research, the grammatical competence of English was strengthened in the students who were part of this study process, motivating their learning by way of a technological tool (APP). Therefore, it is concluded that the mediation of ICT and the use of an APP contributed significantly in the teaching and learning process of the targeted students, increasing the correct application of the grammar rules of English. Finally, the research makes an interesting social contribution, by stimulating educational practices inside and outside the classroom, encouraging the motivation and self-learning of the participants
