El eucalipto Baby blue también llamado como Eucalyptus pulverulenta, hace parte de la familia de las Myrtaceae, se caracteriza por alcanzar alturas de hasta los cinco metros, además de ser un árbol de hoja perenne ubicadas en espiral y corteza rugosa, fibrosa, rojiza, persistente, igualmente su raíz es pivotante, muy profunda gracias a que el árbol tiene simetría axial, esto alude a que la raíz mide aproximadamente lo mismo que la parte aérea, teniendo glándulas que segregan una sustancia que posee una acción desinfectante, cabe resaltar que esta especia tiene una gran variedad de formas de hojas y de tonalidades, se ha dado a conocer que esta variedad de eucalipto es muy empleado para la decoración ornamental, puesto que dicho eucalipto por si solo posee mucha fuerza, por lo cual no se requiere de combinarlo con otras plantas o flores preservadas, así los recipientes que normalmente se utilizan para poner el eucalipto Baby blue son sobrios y discretos, ya que de esta manera recae toda la atención en la elegancia de esta clase de eucalipto. De este modo, la presente propuesta tiene como objetivo evaluar tratamientos de Eucalipto variedad Baby blue con hidratación en campo y clasificación en poscosecha y su influencia en el comportamiento de vida florero para el tipo de viaje marítimo, para lo cual se pretende entonces determinar el mejor tratamiento que permita tener una mayor duración y calidad en vida florero luego de viaje marítimo, realizar seguimiento y medición a la duración en vida florero de los tallos por tratamiento y someter los tratamientos a viaje simulado por vía marítimo, de esta forma se podrá obtener información confiable a través de una búsqueda bibliográfica y así mismo con los resultados obtenidos a partir del ejercicio de las prácticas.

The Baby blue eucalyptus, also called Eucalyptus pulverulenta, is part of the Myrtaceae family, it is characterized by reaching heights of up to five meters, in addition to being an evergreen tree located in a spiral and rough, fibrous, reddish, persistent bark. Likewise, its root is pivotal, very deep thanks to the fact that the tree has axial symmetry, this alludes to the fact that the root measures approximately the same as the aerial part, having glands that secrete a substance that has a disinfectant action, it should be noted that this species It has a great variety of leaf shapes and shades. It has been revealed that this variety of eucalyptus is widely used for ornamental decoration, since said eucalyptus alone has a lot of strength, which is why it is not required to combine it with other preserved plants or flowers, so the containers that are normally used to put the Baby blue eucalyptus are sober and discreet, since in this way all the attention falls on the elegance of this type of eucalyptus. In this way, the present proposal aims to evaluate treatments of Eucalyptus variety Baby blue with hydration in the field and post-harvest classification and its influence on the vase life behavior for the type of maritime trip, for which it is then intended to determine the best treatment that allows for a longer duration and quality in vase life after sea travel, monitor and measure the vase life duration of the stems per treatment and subject the treatments to a simulated sea voyage, in this way information can be obtained reliable through a bibliographic search and likewise with the results obtained from the exercise of the practices.
