En la presente investigación se analizaron las representaciones sociales sobre las prácticas del cuidado humanizado del personal de enfermería, de una institución de salud, mediante el enfoque procesual. A tal fin, se partió de la pregunta: ¿cuáles son las representaciones sociales del cuidado humanizado de los pacientes y familiares en el servicio de hospitalización de la Clínica Norte en el periodo 2019B? Con el propósito de responder a esta pregunta se utilizó la técnica de la entrevista con un guion de seis preguntas abiertas, registrando las respuestas mediante una grabación. Las entrevistas fueron transcritas al pie de la letra, mencionando el estado de ánimo el entrevistado cuando se pudo percibir. Las respuestas obtenidas fueron sometidas a análisis para obtener las categorías y fueron tabuladas para organizar y facilitar el análisis. En este estudio, el objeto de la representación social es el cuidado humanizado por parte del personal de enfermería, el sujeto es el individuo que construye la representación social que fueron los usuarios del servicio de hospitalización entrevistados, en unos casos pacientes, en otros acompañantes o familiares y el contexto fue todo el entorno del servicio de hospitalización de la institución seleccionada. En resultados se obtuvo un total de siete representaciones sociales.

In the present research, the social representations about the humanized care practices of the nursing staff of a health institution were analyzed through the procedural approach. To this end, we started from the question: what are the social representations of the humanized care of patients and relatives in the hospitalization service of the North Clinic in the period 2019B? In order to answer this question, the interview technique was used with a script of six open questions, recording the responses through a recording. The interviews were transcribed verbatim, mentioning the interviewee's state of mind when it could be perceived. The responses obtained were subjected to analysis to obtain the categories and were tabulated to organize and facilitate the analysis. In this study, the object of social representation is humanized care by the nursing staff, the subject is the individual who builds the social representation that were the users of the hospitalization service interviewed, in some cases patients, in other companions or relatives and the context was the entire environment of the hospitalization service of the selected institution. In results, a total of seven social representations were obtained.
