El presente proyecto de investigación aborda el fortalecimiento de criterio textual en los estudiantes del grado 9B de la Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Para cumplir con el objetivo se lleva a cabo la investigación cualitativa, donde se implementa en primera medida una entrevista semiestructurada para diagnosticar su nivel de habilidades críticas y del mismo modo caracterizar aspectos personales de la población de campo. Seguido a esto, se diseña y aplica una estrategia pedagógica basada en la aplicación móvil Busuu la cual está adaptada en la plataforma de Google Classroom mediada por el modelo pedagógico conectivista como instrumento para desarrollar las diferentes habilidades en un espacio interactivo que fomente la comunicación entre estudiantes y entre estudiantes con el docente e intuitivo que posea una navegación sencilla, siguiendo pautas en un orden coherente. Finalmente se implementa una triangulación de datos y síntesis de resultados con el fin de valorar el resultado obtenido por la propuesta, se comprueba avances significativos en las habilidades, sobre todo en las de inferencia y análisis, lo anterior afirma la hipótesis de que es posible formar en los estudiantes habilidades criticas mediante el uso de la aplicación móvil Busuu necesarias al momento de comprender un texto en inglés; su importancia radica en que el inglés al ser un idioma oficial, se presentan más artículos en este idioma que en el idioma español y en su mayoría son artículos más veraces, los estudiantes tendrían la oportunidad mediante la lectura de ampliar sus conocimientos a nivel social y cultural.

This research project addresses the reinforcement of textual criteria in 9B grade students of the Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen. To meet the objective, qualitative research is carried out, where a semi-structured interview is firstly implemented to discover their level of critical skills and in the same way characterize personal aspects of the field population. Following this, a pedagogical strategy based on the Busuu mobile application is designed and applied, which is adapted to the Google Classroom platform mediated by the connectivist pedagogical model as an instrument to develop the different skills in an interactive space that encourages communication between students. and between students with the teacher and intuitive that has a simple navigation, following guidelines in a consistent order. Finally, a triangulation of data and synthesis of results is implemented in order to assess the result obtained by the proposal, significant advances in skills are verified, especially in those of inference and analysis, the above affirms the hypothesis that it is possible to form in the critical skills students need when using the Busuu mobile application when understanding a text in English; its importance lies in the fact that English is an official language, more articles are presented in this language than in the Spanish language and most of them are more truthful articles, students will have the opportunity through reading to expand their knowledge at a social and cultural.
