El presente trabajo plantea una estrategia didáctica para fomentar la cultura ambiental en el grado quinto de la Institución, debido a la problemática que se genera allí como es la contaminación de medio ambiente, por tal motivo, se plantean ciertos objetivos que buscan encaminar el desarrollo de la investigación para dar una solución oportuna, en donde a partir de la realización de un diagnóstico sobre la situación evidenciada, se diseña la estrategia y se implementa con las new media videoarte y land art para finalizar haciendo una evaluación del proceso. La investigación se desarrolla bajo una metodología cualitativa teniendo un alcance descriptivo que dé cuenta del avance formativo de los estudiantes a partir de las diferentes actividades realizadas logrando sensibilizarse frente a un tema que no era de importancia para ellos, cambiando el pensamiento sobre este tema y manifestando desde las acciones cotidianas su compromiso y cambio de actitud frente al cuidado del planeta. Las intervenciones del estudio permitieron llevar a cabo la ejecución de la estrategia didáctica, de manera que se concientizó a los estudiantes sobre el cuidado del medio ambiente, además con la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías en el aula como las new media videoarte y land art, siendo de gran interés en el proceso de aprendizaje de los niños y las niñas, logrando el desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas, expresivas y analíticas sobre la problemática presentada. The present work proposes a didactic strategy to promote environmental culture in the fifth grade of the Institution, due to the problems that are generated there, such as environmental pollution, for this reason, certain objectives are proposed that seek to direct the development of the investigation to give a timely solution, where from the realization of a diagnosis on the evidenced situation, the strategy is designed and implemented with the new media video art and land art to finalize an evaluation of the process. The research is developed under a qualitative methodology having a descriptive scope that accounts for the formative progress of the students from the different activities carried out, managing to become sensitized to a topic that was not important to them, changing their thinking on this topic and expressing from daily actions their commitment and change of attitude towards caring for the planet. The interventions of the study allowed to carry out the execution of the didactic strategy, so that the students were made aware of the care of the environment, in addition to the use of new technologies in the classroom such as new media video art and land art being of great interest in the learning process of boys and girls, achieving the development of communicative, expressive and analytical skills on the problem presented.
