Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo implementar una secuencia didáctica para el fortalecimiento de la competencia interpretativa del área de ciencias sociales en estudiantes de grado tercero. Una de las estrategias fue la utilización de la herramienta ProFuturo, la cual sirvió para mejorar los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje de 21 estudiantes de la Institución Educación San Jorge, logrando en los discentes un aprendizaje significativo y por consiguiente mejores resultados en las pruebas internas de la Institución, lo cual se reflejará a futuro en las pruebas externas. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque mixto, empleando técnicas de observación y encuestas con preguntas cerradas, con la finalidad de obtener los datos requeridos para alcanzar los objetivos planteados. La implementación de la secuencia didáctica mediada por la herramienta ProFuturo, permitió alcanzar niveles de desempeño satisfactorios, aumentar el interés y motivación por el área de ciencias sociales, adquiriendo la destreza de expresar su punto de vista con relación a problemas del entorno social, además la realización de este proyecto permitió que docentes y padres de familia se capacitaran con relación al manejo de la herramienta, lo que permio mejores resultados en el marco de la metodología de trabajo en casa por causa de la Pandemia del virus Covid-19, y por su parte el cuerpo docente mostro interés en implementar dicha herramienta en su quehacer.

This research aimed to implement a didactic sequence to strengthen the interpretive competence of the social sciences area in third grade students. One of the strategies was the use of the ProFuturo tool, which served to improve the teaching-learning processes of 21 students of the San Jorge Education Institution, achieving significant learning in the students and therefore better results in the internal tests of the Institution, which will be reflected in the future in external tests. The research carried out was of a mixed approach, using observation techniques and surveys with closed questions, in order to obtain the data required to achieve the objectives set. The implementation of the didactic sequence mediated by the ProFuturo tool, allowed to achieve satisfactory levels of performance, increase interest and motivation in the area of social sciences, acquiring the ability to express their point of view in relation to problems of the social environment, in addition to the Carrying out this project allowed teachers and parents to be trained in relation to the use of the tool, which allowed better results within the framework of the work-at-home methodology due to the Pandemic of the Covid-19 virus, and for its On the other hand, the teaching body showed interest in implementing this tool in their work.
