Tanto a nivel global como local, el turismo se ha convertido en un negocio clave que genera beneficios como el crecimiento del empleo, consumo de viajes nacionales e internacionales, desarrollo de bienes turísticos comercializables e inversiones en infraestructura. Partiendo de esa idea, se realizan investigaciones para determinar si un parque temático del café en Santiago, Norte de Santander, es factible en términos de incentivar el turismo, fomentar el patrimonio cultural y apoyar el desarrollo sostenible garantizando el uso eficaz de los recursos municipales ofreciendo servicios de experiencias turísticas de primer nivel. El enfoque de turismo sostenible necesita un seguimiento continuo y medidas preventivas para determinar fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas, el análisis evalúa el mercado, el entorno del proyecto y un análisis geográfico, sentando las bases para las estrategias efectivas, por lo tanto, se considera como un proyecto de diversificación que busca traer nuevos ingresos a las asociaciones del café en el municipio de Santiago, favoreciendo la economía del trabajador agricultor y las marcas locales, además, de poder ayudar a otros gremios como el ganadero, el minero, el de arroz y cacao. El desarrollo de esta propuesta nace con el fin de evolucionar e innovar el mercado con la meta de ser un municipio potencial a nivel nacional.

At both a global and local level, tourism has become a key business that generates benefits such as employment growth, national and international travel consumption, development of marketable tourism goods and investments in infrastructure. Starting from this idea, research is carried out to determine if a coffee theme park in Santiago, Norte de Santander, is feasible in terms of encouraging tourism, promoting cultural heritage and supporting sustainable development by guaranteeing the effective use of municipal resources by offering first-class tourist experience services. The sustainable tourism approach needs continuous monitoring and preventive measures to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, the analysis evaluates the market, the project environment and a geographical analysis, laying the foundation for effective strategies, therefore, it is It is considered a diversification project that seeks to bring new income to the coffee associations in the municipality of Santiago, favoring the economy of the farmer worker and local brands, in addition to being able to help other unions such as livestock, mining, rice and cocoa. The development of this proposal was born with the aim of evolving and innovating the market with the goal of being a potential municipality at the national level.
