The pregnancy and the maternity in the adolescence are phenomena that affect the reproductive health and the well-being of the young women, in his emotional and social area, beside affecting the quality of life of his families, as well as the economic development of the country; on the other hand the representations have a social origin, between his characteristics one deserves to emphasize that they are mental constructions that act as engines of the thought; It is this one says type of thought recovers social specific functions, orientating the interpretation, construction of the reality, guiding conducts and social relations between the individuals and for ende every teen young woman assumes a different attitude opposite to his pregnancy; the general aim is to identify the social representations of the pregnancy and the maternity of the teenagers of the Local Hospital of The Courts, 2018 To. The used methodology is inside the qualitative paradigm that one entrusts of the summary of information based on an interview semi structured and a script of observation, directed five embarrassed before selected teenagers, who are present at the program of prenatal control of the Local Hospital of the Courts 2018 To. The results obtained regarding the adoption of the maternal role, it was 16 evident that pregnant adolescents, in relation to the theory of Ramona Mercer, reflected a positive process when assuming her new maternal role, since they had an immediate emotional bond for her son , in a minority highlighting the fourth case, where she obtained a negative acceptance process towards the identity of the maternal role, considering the possibility of abortion, but the family system was a support that helped her to affote her new role.

El embarazo y la maternidad en la adolescencia son fenómenos que afectan la salud reproductiva y el bienestar de las jóvenes, en su ámbito emocional y social, además de afectar la calidad de vida de sus familias, así como el desarrollo económico del país; por otra parte las representaciones tienen un origen social, entre sus características merece destacarse que son construcciones mentales que actúan como motores del pensamiento; es decir éste tipo de pensamiento desempeña funciones sociales específicas, orientando la interpretación, construcción de la realidad, guiando conductas y relaciones sociales entre los individuos y por ende cada joven adolescente asume una actitud diferente frente a su embarazo; el objetivo general es identificar las representaciones sociales del embarazo y la maternidad de las adolescentes del Hospital Local de Los Patios, 2018 A. La metodología utilizada está dentro del paradigma cualitativo que se encarga de la recopilación de información basada en una entrevista semi estructurada y un guion de observación, dirigido a cinco adolescentes embarazadas previamente seleccionadas, quienes asisten al programa de control prenatal del Hospital Local de Los Patios 2018 A. Los resultados obtenidos en cuanto a la adopción del rol materno, se evidenció que las adolescentes embarazadas, en relación a la teoría de Ramona Mercer, se reflejó un proceso positivo al asumir su nuevo rol maternal, ya que tuvieron un vínculo emocional inmediato por su hijo, en una minoría destacando el caso cuarto, en donde obtuvo un proceso de aceptación negativo hacia la identidad del rol maternal, considerando la posibilidad de abortar, pero el sistema familiar fue un soporte que la ayudó afrotar su nuevo rol.
