Para el siguiente proyecto de grado se plantea una investigación de tipo descriptivo, donde se busca describir y analizar de forma específica las características socioeconómicas, socioculturales, familiares y personales que rodean a los estudiantes del programa de Instrumentación Quirúrgica de la Universidad de Santander UDES, sede Bucaramanga. Al momento de realizar este análisis de la información conseguida de los estudiantes que voluntariamente participaron, se obtuvieron datos que permiten la identificación de las diferentes características entre ellas tenemos que la edad fue bastante representativa, de acuerdo a los resultados. Los estudiantes que participaron se encuentran en un rango de edad entre los 16 y 36 años, además ingresaron inmediatamente la Universidad una vez terminado su bachillerato; de acuerdo a sus condiciones económicas viven actualmente con su familia y dependen económicamente de ellos. Los estratos socioeconómicos más relevantes son 2 y 3; Por otra parte, hay un porcentaje menor de ellos que estudian y trabajan, y totalmente dependen de ellos mismos. Esta investigación nos permite tener un acercamiento a la realidad de los estudiantes, lo que permite al programa generar acciones de mejora para el fortalecimiento de estrategias, que garanticen el mejoramiento continuo, y cumplimiento de la misión de la Universidad y su compromiso con la educación superior, una de ellas determinar la fuente de ingresos de los estudiantes para que no interrumpan su proceso de educación, y los beneficios que ofrecen los servicios de la universidad como la biblioteca, neurotrauma, bienestar universitario. Esto en consideración a la misión de la Universidad y su compromiso con los estudiantes.

For the next degree project, descriptive research is proposed, which seeks to describe and analyze in a specific way the socioeconomic, sociocultural, family and personal characteristics that surround the students of the Surgical Instrumentation program of the University of Santander UDES, headquarters Bucaramanga. At the time of carrying out this analysis of the information obtained from the students who voluntarily participated, data were obtained that allow the identification of the different characteristics among them, we have that the age was quite representative, according to the results. The students who participated are in an age range between 16 and 36 years old, and they also immediately entered the University once they finished their baccalaureate; According to their economic conditions, they currently live with their family and depend economically on them. The most relevant socioeconomic strata are 2 and 3; On the other hand, there is a smaller percentage of them who study and work, and totally depend on themselves. This research allows us to have an approach to the reality of the students, which allows the program to generate improvement actions to strengthen strategies, which guarantee continuous improvement, and fulfillment of the mission of the University and its commitment to higher education. , one of them to determine the source of income of the students so that they do not interrupt their education process, and the benefits offered by university services such as the library, neurotrauma, university wellness.
